How We Got Started

After nursing and teaching all over the country for almost 10 years, Jacob and Marley decided to create a business that would combine their talents and passion for helping children. Jacob worked as a Registered Nurse at multiple children's hospitals, including Riley's Hospital for Children and Kaiser Permanente. He served on multiple committees, review boards, and even assisted in the creation and operation of multiple Professional Practice Councils. This is where he found and developed his love for helping infants, children, and families.

Marley began her career teaching, tutoring, and consulting students and families virtually across the United States. She created and developed home schooling curriculum, and supported parents to become self-sufficient in their children's academic and behavioral progress. Committed to the development of her skills and mastery, Marley was accepted into the International Honor Society in Education, Kappa Delta Pi. Marley still operates a home schooling tutoring and consulting business today, where she helps students find their own intrinsic motivation to learn.

After traveling the country and developing their own professional skills, Jacob and Marley have decided to move closer to their family in East Tennessee, where they could start their new in-home daycare business.
